Curt Trailer Hitch Installation - 2021 Toyota C-HR

Hey everybody, how's it going Today we're gonna be going over and showing you how to install the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver here on our 2021 Toyota CHR. So this is what the trailer hitch looks like on our CHR here. As we can see, it has a nice concealed design meaning the cross tube is gonna be tucked up, back away behind the bumper here. So the only thing we are gonna be able to see is the receiver tube, which gives us the best overall appearance. Now, what we can see the receiver tube has a nice black powder coated finish, which is gonna help it blend in well at the bottom of the vehicle, it's also gonna help protect the hitch from rust and corrosion, being that it is outside so over time it can be subjected to the elements. So adding a trailer hitch to your CHR, it's gonna be an excellent option, because it's gonna make your vehicle that much more versatile. more

Curt Trailer Hitch Installation - 2018 Toyota C-HR

Rob: Hey everybody, Rob here at etrailer.com. Today we're going to be taking a look at the Curt Class One Custom Fit Trailer Hitch Receiver on our 2018 Toyota CHR. Here's what our hitch is going to look like once we have it installed. I think it has a really nice, clean look because the cross tube's going to be completely hidden behind the rear bumper and all we're going to see is that receiver tube sticking out. As you can see, it's almost flush with the bumper, which is going to help out with those accessories, but it's also going to prevent us from hitting our leg when we're walking by.Now, it is a class one hitch, which means it gives us an inch and a quarter by inch and a quarter receiver tube opening. This would be great for light duty towing, a bike rack or even some small cargo carriers. more

Best 2018 Toyota C-HR Trailer Hitch Options- Video

Best 2018 Toyota C-HR Trailer Hitch Options

Speaker 1: Today we're going to be taking a look at the best hitch options for our 2018 Toyota C-HR. Here we have a trailer hitch from Curt and one from Draw-Tite. They're both going to be similar in most aspects, but there are a few subtle differences between them. When it comes to appearance, that's going to go to our Curt, because of its reinforced collar. When it comes to clearances, that's also going to go to our Curt, because it has slightly higher ground clearance, which may eliminate that need for that raised shank on your accessory. When it comes to the ease of installation, it's going to be tied between the two, as they both have exactly the same procedures. more
